Stop Smoking

I don’t want to smoke anymore, god give me the courage and determination to stop this. I feel shaken-ed everytime I take this step however I know this that I want to stop this once and for all.
I was going through the site where I found one of the courageous woman encouraged people not to smoke. Her name is Barb Tarbox. I am grateful to her as after seeing her video I stopped myself smoking for one time, may be this would continue for a day, may be I would be able to continue it for a year and then forever.

Fluensee what an app only to be seconded by bureaucracy and lethargy shown by its developers.
However an amazing idea by Jo Agnitti which was rounded off by critical thinking done by Pranav and Shuchi along with Faisal, Hui Soo.
The phases involved
- Feasibility study of the application
- Decision of the feature matrix as to the features which should be deployed.
- Decision to use the OCR after evaluation
- Design of the Fluensee Application in two separate parts
– one being the client side on iPhone
– other being the server side on the webserver.
- Coding of the Fluensee Application
- Testing of the application with the real users

The best product I like and the worst product too

There has always been a question in the interviews about which product you like the most and which you don’t and why. I have always wondered what would be a good product a website, a software application, etc… However never I have imagined that a good product which I like might turn out to be the worst product in some situations.

Take for e.g. – iPhone which is an example of a well thought out design and has a good user interface with tactile feedback.

Now how come a cool and a good utility like iPhone turn into an example of bad design, quite a thoughtful answer isn’t it?
I thought long and hard, and then came to a conclusion that in certain cases it will. For e.g. take when your iphone gets hanged up and you don’t know on earth what you can do to get it back up and running. In earlier versions of cellphone one could just easily remove the battery and start the phone however with iphone there is no such thing. As most consumers only have a single phone imagine the trouble they have to go through when their sole piece of communication goes off.
I believe giving a reset button or a small hole where you can put a needle to reset would have been a easy thing and would have helped iPhone distressed users to address the problem.
Not sure whether this is the best design however it is one of them which can help the users in their hour of need.

I know most of the people have shifted from SQL Server 2000 to newer versions, however there are still some companies and people using it. We were encountering a unique problem with Full text, spiking CPU to 100% all the quad core processors.

Finally I managed to find an article which stated set the processor affinity of the MSSEARCH using the at command.
Somehow I wasn’t able to figure out how can I do that as everytime I ran the command it gave me the same error.

newline character had been giving me headaches in C.
finally I found the answer at http://www.daniweb.com/forums/thread91241.html#
‘\n’ character has value ASCII – 10 and one can print the ASCII value using %d or ASCII character using %c in the printf command

If the ‘\n’ character has not been encountered — normally signifies the end of a string in text files. ” indicates the end of the string in memory, assuming it is a normal c-style character array.
